ALEX SARIAN

Alex Sarian is the President & CEO of Arts Commons, the third largest arts center in Canada, and the artistic home to institutions including The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and Theatre Calgary. Before his current appointment, he held several leadership roles at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, including the senior executive responsible for arts education, community engagement, cultural innovation grants, global consulting, and artistic programming for young audiences.
Born in Canada, Alex lived in Buenos Aires for 15 years before moving to New York to pursue a career in arts education and nonprofit leadership. His work as a consultant in the arts has allowed him to work on projects throughout the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korean, and Spain. |
